China green tea

This smooth, delicate china green tea is known as Chun Mee and is full of flavour without any bitterness. It is also known as “precious eyebrows” because each leaf is hand rolled into a tiny needle-like shape with a curve in it – like the eyebrow drawn on the face of a porcelain doll. One of China’s most popular green teas, it is high in healthy anti-oxidants and has a light yellow colour and a lingering sweet fragrance. Brewed at the correct temperature, Chun Mee will never taste bitter.

Serving tips:
Take three minutes of time to achieve perfection. Use one teaspoon of tea per person and add freshly drawn water which is just off the boil – around 80 degrees centigrade. Green tea is too delicate for milk.
